MILLET PROCUREMENT

In order to revive the millets in farms and on the plates and to make millets cultivation remunerative, Government of Odisha has launched a special programme for promotion of Millets in Tribal Areas of Odisha. Under this mission, millets (Ragi) will be procured from the Millets growers and include these highly nutritious food items in various State Nutritional security and Food Security programmes and schemes. The Millet Procurement system is streamlined through Online system in which farmers will be benefited through online trnsfer of Money after TDCC will purchase the same from the farmers.
